I can't believe it's here...my last week at work! My last month at work has flown by so fast, and I can't believe that after Friday, I won't be teaching my little first graders any more.
I have an awesome week ahead of me, each night has something going on, with special people in my life. Next week is my last week in VA. I've scheduled just about every appointment imaginable before I move to WV. Doctor, dentist, vet, massage, etc. We have movers coming next Saturday morning, and then we're off for good. Wow...it's so weird that we won't be living in VA any more with all of our friends. Since both families are in NY, our friends here have become our family. They are people we've had holidays with, they've visited us in the hospital, helped us renovate our house, helped us pack our house, and everything inbetween.
Stay posted...

Favorite Movies
Since I've been so busy with packing, I've tried to relax with movies or TV seasons on DVD. I love sitting down with a cup of tea and watching some movies after packing my head off. Currently, I have some favorites...
1. Dan in Real Life (awesome soundtrack)
2. The Office
3. Little Miss Sunshine
4. Love Actually (awesome soundtrack)
5. The Painted Veil

A hammer head shark, and nerdy school teacher...
John and I recently went to a Halloween costume party, and had a lot of fun dressing up! John was a hammer head shark, and I was a nerdy school teacher. I want to give a shout out to my hair, and make up artist- Katey Toller! She made my disheveled look possible with more than enough hair spray, and hot pink lipstick all over my face.

Rough patch
Considering that I am a very outgoing person, there's something I've kept somewhat private. I haven't ever blogged about this topic before, but it's something that I want to be open and honest about. I'm a strong believer in prayer, and feel that it's important to share life with the people around you. I know that when I share my trials, and burdens, people can life me up and encourage me. That's what I'm starving for...some encouragement!
Since April, John and I have had three miscarriages. Each of them have been very difficult, but this last one, just two weeks ago, has been the most difficult for a few reasons. My levels were high, and progressing, and my first ultrasound even looked good. When I went in for a second one, the sac had collapsed, and there was no heartbeat. I had a D and C a few days later. The day of the procedure, and days to follow, I was fine. I think I was in denial, and still am to a certain degree that I lost yet another pregnancy.
What seems to make everything harder is the numerous people around me who are either pregnant, or have newborns. I feel like there are days, and weeks that go by when I don't give it a thought, and I do really well in keeping am positive spirit and attitude. And then all of a sudden, I'll go through a 'rough patch'- hence the title of today's blog, and I'll get depressed and discouraged.
I know what a lot of people say- we're young, this is common, blah blah blah! I think in a lot of ways, moving to WV will be helpful in this area because I'll have some time off work which will be less stress in my life.
This has been something that's been really hard for John and I. We've prayed about this so much, and have given it to God, knowing that his will is better than ours. We know that someday, we will celebrate with our family and friends. We know that God will bless us with a healthy, beautiful baby. I also know that God will use this situation, and season of waiting and trusting Him to create something beautiful. Please keep us in your thoughts, and prayers over the next few months.

Update
John and I are busy little beavers packing up our house here in VA. John has been living in WV the last three weeks, and home in VA over the weekend. John's been living out of his suitcase, in a hotel. We finally closed on our new house in Elkins, WV. We are going to be renting for a year, with the option to buy. We are so excited! It's a beautiful house, similar to ours here in that it's older, with hardwood floors, a fireplace, and pretty crown molding. Pictures of the house to come!

I am crazy in love with The Office!!

Oh man, I am in love with The Office. My intense love came last year, but has grown stronger since I have bought all of the seasons, and have 'The Office Episode Nights' with friends every week or so. I don't normally laugh out loud when watching tv or movies, but I find myself hysterical when watching The Office! I love dry, awkward humor that almost makes you feel uncomfortable. It's so well written, and witty. I wish so bad I could meet the cast!!
